I adore the fans’ faces.

As would I. I can’t blame him.

when mb & i were at craven cottage last november we sat in that little cottage in the back of this photo. so random but awesome.
Great piece on my beloved Clinton Drew Dempsey. My favorite bit was the quote from Bruce Arena: “He tries shit.” And that is why I love him.
From the submitter:
I’m a Red. I’d die for Liverpool. I nearly hate the other EPL teams. But Robin van Persie is my favorite player ever, and I cannot fight it. I love him. He’s just fantastic, he takes my breath away when he plays. I watch Arsenal for him, even if I can’t stand the club. I cry when he falls.I’m a Red. I stay a Red. But whenever there is an Arsenal-Liverpool game, I’m fucking afraid. I don’t want him to score against my team, it hurts so fucking much. And it bloody hurts to see this look on his face when his team is loosing, too. So I just… hate these games. Sometimes I feel ashamed. Maybe I just love him too much.
(sorry for my english, I’m french)
true love for the game.
Watching him play, not just in this match but in most matches, I find it almost impossible to believe that this is the guy who crashes his car into pedestrians, pummels teammates on the training field, curses his managers, makes two-footed lunges into opponents’ shins.
[You should definitely read this in its entirety at The Run of Play]
As his manager said: “Sometimes you think Clint’s not having an impact on the game, but he’s had a positive influence in virtually every game he’s played, with goals created or scored.” That’s the Clint Dempsey brand of soccer.Or, more to the point, the latest Dempsey moment. Both goals scored in the 2-0 win over Stoke City, and if you’ve seen the highlights the typical Dempsey response. What is happening with Dempsey at Fulham is an American player staying crucial with one club in the prime of his career. He’s not the first, but the ability to see the Dempsey moments is greater than any American field player before him.
Once in a while I think my dad looks like Sir Alex Ferguson, but Sir Alex has more hair than my dad did. :)

The Toon are back!!
Thank goodness. I’ve missed Joey Barton’s drama and Gutierrez’s hair.
Pile on, boys! Such a great photo - posting this for all my homeboys who support Newcastle. (Andy, Benny, Colin, etc)
