I’m a Red. I’d die for Liverpool. I nearly hate the other EPL teams. But Robin van Persie is my favorite player ever, and I cannot fight it. I love him. He’s just fantastic, he takes my breath away when he plays. I watch Arsenal for him, even if I can’t stand the club. I cry when he falls.I’m a Red. I stay a Red. But whenever there is an Arsenal-Liverpool game, I’m fucking afraid. I don’t want him to score against my team, it hurts so fucking much. And it bloody hurts to see this look on his face when his team is loosing, too. So I just… hate these games. Sometimes I feel ashamed. Maybe I just love him too much.
(sorry for my english, I’m french)
true love for the game.
I need to go back. It was like magic.
stadium-love-: Emirates Stadium
I love Emirates Stadium.
I WILL GO TO A GAME. I WILL.
I hope you do. I just went to a match and even though a.) I’m not an Arsenal supporter and b.) they lost to the Spurs that day - it was still a truly amazing experience, especially in comparison to going to matches or other sporting events in the US.

Hm, my favourite European football team. You must be from Europe since you spelled favourite with a u, are you?
Anyway, I haven’t “picked” a fave European team as of yet, but I do like some more than others all for emotional reasons or for reasons connected to memories and awesome people in my life.
In no particular order:
1. Everton
I saw Everton play against the Fire a few years ago in Chicago, and I feel like that gave me a sort of connection to them. I also have a female friend, who is an Everton supporter. I have more respect for her than I do most female soccer supporters. She knowledgeable about football and not afraid to speak up, so I suppose she influenced me a bit. I also became friends with someone that is from England and a huge Everton supporter the week they played in Chicago. Other reasons, Timmy Howard, Mikel Arteta, Marouane Fellaini. Everton is also a good team but they’re not an AMAZING team, so they have a little big of underdog in them but win enough games not to feel too defeated in supporting them. Is loving Umbro a totally non-legit reason to support them? :-/
2. Arsenal
A group of my good friends really love Arsenal, so I started watching them a few years ago. That’s one connection. Arsenal also plays the style of soccer that I grew up playing, so I can appreciate that as a spectator. Also, my boyfriend is a fan of Arsenal, so I am constantly watching them… (met him a couple of years after I started watching them with my friends).
3. Barca
I just recently figured out that I probably like Barca more than I ever imagined and that’s for the same reasons as above. A group of friends of mine really love them, so we saw them practice at Toyota Park, and I’ve seen them play a couple of times in Chicago.
my friends passion for certain teams, obviously, rubs off on me, but i have friends that are passionate about a lot of other teams that i don’t get excited over.

1. Getting my bangs trimmed, which turned into me getting my hair colored as well. I feel like a new lady with some minimal changes. YES!
2. Arsenal Victory! Everton Victory!
