Inspirational blog for Tuesday is http://www.unurth.com/.

Unurth features graffiti from all over the world. My love of graffiti probably started when I was 14 years old. In the southern California town where I grew up, tagging was very popular among my peers. I never understood when someone would just scribble their name in cursive on a wall to “claim” that area but when it was done in an artistic, thoughtful way then I couldn’t help but respect them and the art they were creating.

Later when I lived in London and now living in New York I can fully appreciate all the hidden treasures all over the city. The only regret is that I wish I had documented the works I had seen when I was younger. It was only a few years ago that I finally started taking photos of all the graffiti I stumble upon in New York and the various cities I visit. You can find it here:

The photo above is grafitti from Koax, Okinawa, Japan and taken from Unurth.

when i first saw this ring i actually thought it was a really pretty bracelet.  it’s gorgeous! i didn’t realize it was an engagement ring either, but i can’t resist posting it. it’s so so beautiful. no?
