My sister and I started to clean our childhood basement the other day, and we came upon boxes and boxes of books that we dusted off and placed on shelves. Books are the one thing that the two of us are incapable of parting with.
Memories.
Reminiscing on a previous roadtrip to Toronto for a Chicago Fire away game, which was my first away game.
I’m home sick today. My throat has been hurting pretty badly, since I woke up yesterday morning. I’m hoping it’s just allergies, but I can’t remember my throat ever hurting on such a consistent basis. I think I’ll head to the doctor in the morning.
I was also just searching for “sick” photos on my Tumblr, and I happened upon this old post from appx this time last year when I was sick too. I wonder if it’s just the time of year that I always catch something.
Hmph!
Today my sister and I took the day off of work to go with my mom to her third chemo treatment. My mom is handling things like a champ and only has one more treatment left. Go her! I would have taken a photo of her today, but she probably wouldn’t have been too happy with me. Here’s Allison and I relaxing, studying, and hanging out while my mom was in receiving her treatment.
