I’ve been kinda sad lately, and I try to listen for my dad’s advice.

And I miss mine.

loveyourchaos: I miss my dad.

Something I borrowed from a friend’s facebook post:

“So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”

It’s been 5 years since Brandon Kitchens passed away. I thought that quote was rather fitting. Peace.

Remembering one awesome dude today. And thinking about all the wonderful people he had in his life. Hope he’s enjoying some whiskey, beer, and footy today.   RIP Brandon. <3

My dad was the best. And yes, you’re probably jealous of his glasses. (Taken with instagram)

Today is all about this man, who left us too soon two years ago today. Thanks for being my daily inspiration to be a better person every day. Miss you, dad. <3 (Taken with instagram)

Happy Anniversary to my mom and dad, who would have been married 36 years today.
